These pictures show the kitchen as it was before the start of the remodeling. As is obvious, not only was there limited storage and counter space but also the aesthetics of the kitchen were poor. When we started the demolition, we discovered an old porch roof above part of the existing kitchen ceiling that we had to remove.

We discussed the decorative scheme with the homeowners. The floor is sheet vinyl in white and the corian is cameo white with a blue sapphire stripe. The blue is again repeated in the border. The border colors were picked up again on one wall with paint using a sponge technique as pictured to pull together the continuity of the room.
